This article intimates that the public schools are at fault. That they are prejudiced against black and hispanic students. Well, NO. I do subscribe to stereotypes. They define the majority or a large part of a certain population. To say EVERYONE in that population fits the stereotype is stupid. I am sure there are many bad asian students and good black students, etc. However, as groups, asian and euro parents drive their children harder, value education over entertainment more and spend more of their resources and at times have more resources to devote to their children's education. If the populations of blacks and latinos lag behind the asians and the euros in these elite schools, why not look at the population? How can these groups improve their numbers in good schools? But this kind of affirmative action bullshit, is what gets people like Trump elected. Are black and hispanic children born stupider than the asians and the euros, no. Are their talents nurtured as well as the two latter groups, most probably not. First look should be at the parents.

I don't agree with Trump on most subjects but I agree with him 100% on this. WTF!!! Why are these people here? To take advantage of the peace and prosperity they don't have in their own country and culture. Nobody cares when Indian women walk around in saris, or Mexicans wear their shawls or sombreros, becauce they aren't a blatant sign of female repression, the hijab is!

WHEN I SEE HIJABIS I go nuts. As someone who fled the Islamic Revolution, the oppression, the misogyny, the stupidity of a theocracy to the free shores of the United States, I hate how the barbaric backward masses are flooding our shores and bringing all that sucks in their own countries with them.  My American-born daughters, leftist and liberal from their privileged perches in NYC, take exception with me, call me prejudiced. Well, I did speak to a hijabi cab driver at some point. She didn't mind her hijab but after a 30 minute conversation it became very clear that her life was to serve her husband, her two autistic adult sons and her father-in-law before he died. 

Regardless, I and many others come to the WEST because we don't like, or supposedly don't like, how things are in our own countries, then why are some bringing their backward ways with them?!

GOOD FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP. Having been a member of the press myself, I always felt that the field was another arm of our checks and balances system. With the press around, none of the branches of government could do wrong individually or collectively for long before being exposed. 

Well, I have lost all respect for the press which in most part doesn't care about our collective good anymore but is just hungry for clicks and career advancement. One advantage Iran has over the US is that it won't allow any dissent to seep through. It looks unified because the regime will kill any one who dares to condemn it or the war with the US. How fast the American press forgot about how the regime slaughtered 40,000 of its own people in one weekend. Where is the coverage on that? Where is the coverage of the arrests, the tortures the executions, the grieving families? We only find out some news from social media platforms, nothing in the traditional news outlets. All I see in the American press is how we are so weak, how we can't stand high oil prices, how we used all of our military equipment already, how, how how. In a time of war the role of the press is to support the country at least a little not support the enemy by touting its strengths. Iran's regime is week; it had been before the war. The press should cheer the President to finish off a brutal regime that has done nothing but keep its people down and be a thorn in the side of the US and Israel. Al Jazeera is more sympathetic than the Times. Ridiculous!

Black hair is dry and brittle, if a hair dresser doesn't know how to deal with it, it can get damaged. Did this woman think for a minute that maybe the stylist had had a bad experience? Had done black hair before and got it wrong and suffered the consequences? That maybe she or he wasn't confident about their skill level? 

In high school, I had a black roommate who corn-braided her hair with beads. I wanted her to do the same to my hair, she said, your hair is too straight. Was I supposed to be offended? I want to know whether Lavinia was paid or came back for more money? I know this will never be published but I'm sick of this puritanical culture that equates these coercions with rape. Teenage girls have had sex at 14 and so on forever, in the west and elsewhere. Rape is when a woman is physically constrained; sex slaves are those are thrown into a locked room and forced into having sex with a number of men a day; raped and abused are African girls who go through sexual "lessons" then are "tested" by men with HIV. So much about this article offends me. First of all, 500K is a ton of money so to say how do they do it? is obscene. I know families of 4 who live on less than 100K. Then the article says their biggest expense is childcare. They put their 1 year old in daycare. Future psychos are born that way. That child needs to be at home with one of this parents, or a close relative. Stop spending money on daycare and care for your own child!!
